Wilsonton State School is well equipped with sporting facilities.
Facilities include:
- a multi-purpose hall—complete with a basketball court and electronic scoreboard
- two tennis courts
- a cricket pitch and practice nets
- two large ovals on the school premises and another which is detached from the school
- a five-lane 25 metre swimming pool.
The school also has access to Captain Cook Sports Reserve, which is a short walk from the school.
