School grounds
The large, spacious grounds at Wilsonton State School are well maintained and have been developed to enhance both their practical and aesthetic value. Attention has been given to providing shade both through tree planting and shade structures.
Playground areas
Both junior and senior school students are well catered for with playground areas and expansive grassed spaces that provide fun play areas and outdoor learning environments.
Garju Place
Garju Place is a space within our school where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students can feel connected to their cultural heritage through the provision of meaningful activities, such as dance, music and storytelling.
The Jenny Conley Media Centre
The Media Centre has wide view screening facilities and two soundproof teaching rooms. It is a favoured venue with teachers for district conferences. Students use the Centre for dance and drama activities. The Centre also boasts a state of the art sound recording studio accessed by the local high school.
